As Reuters reported Today, Thai branch of Air Asia X is planning to launch Bangkok - Prague (- Vienna, - Stockholm) after delivery of two new aircraft in April 2019. Air Asia has 100 Airbus 330neo on order so this type will be probably selected for operation the service.

CSA Czech Airlines decided to cancel their Skopje flights effective July 18. This regular service has been opened in 2016 and flew 3 times a week, to be changed to seasonal very early and canceled these days.

Monday October 29th will see the start of the new Belfast-Prague connection by easyJet. An Airbus A319 will leave Belfast as EZY6789 every Monday at 9:55 local time, land at Prague at 1:25 p.m. and leave at 2 p.m. as EZY6790 for landing back at Belfast at 3:35. On Fridays, the times are 7:15 from Belfastu, Prague 10:45 - 11:20, return to BFS at 12:55.
The route is not serviced nowadays, however it used to be flown by Bmibaby, Jet2 or easyJet in the past.

Ryanair, irish low-cost airline, announced Today start of new service from Kosice (eastern Slovakia) to London Southend airport. The service is scheduled from April 2nd 2019, and will be operated three times per week (Tu, Th and Sa). Boeing 737 will land at Kosice 10:40 am and will depart 11:05 am.

Czech Airlines are wet-leasing a new Airbus A321 MSN 878 from Danish Air Transport. Aircraft, registered in Denmark as OY-RUU, has flown as B-2370 for Sichuan Airlines from 1998 till March 2018.
Delivery from Billund is scheduled to weekend June 9-10, with scheduled return at the end of October 2018. CSA is planning to use it on Madrid service and other larger demand destinations.

Emirates announced adding a second daily frequency to their Dubai-Prague route since 01.07.2018. An Airbus A380 is regularly coming to Prague as EK139/140 at 1:00 p.m. local and the planned departure is 3.55 p.m., daily. Now, a Boeing 777-300ER flight has been added, departing from Dubai as EK 137 at 15:30 every day, staying in Prague between 19:55 and 21:35, and landing back at Dubai at 05:30 local time. The Emirates history in Prague dates back to 2010 when the route started with Airbus A330-200 (not in the fleet any more). Boeing 777-300 has been used two years later, and A380 flies on the route since 2016, with the 615-passenger variant used since September 1st, 2017.

Effective March 26th 2018 Sichuan Airlines extends their route Chengdu - Prague to Zurich. Monday, Three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) Airbus A330 arrives to Prague 6:50 and departs for Zurich 8:25 local time. Returning flight lands to Prague 12:55 and departs to Chengdu 15:00. Availability of tickets for PRG-ZRH-PRG is unknown yet.
Same kind of service is offered Hainan Airlines, already extending their Beijing - Prague service to Belgrade.

The Russian S7 Airlines started to sell tickets for their second weekly rotation from Novosibirsk to Prague in summer 2018 season. Flights S7 857/8 will land at Prague at 9:40am and depart back to Novosibirsk at 10:40am (both times Prague local time). Airbus A320neo or A320ceo with seat capacity 158 - 164 seats are planned for the service.
As Today, S7 has a sole Friday rotation in between Novosibirsk and Prague.

SAS will start their Oslo-Prague flights at the end of March 2018. A Boeing 737 will depart Oslo at 10:50 as SK4769 every Thursday and after a short stay in Prague (12:45 - 13:25) returns to Oslo at 15:25 as SK4768. Sunday times are 08:35 (Oslo) - 10:30-11:10 (Pragur) - 13:10 (Oslo).

According Czech TV (and other sources), the dominant charter airline in the Czech Republic, Travel Service, reached agreement with two of major stakeholders of Czech Airlines (The Czech government and Korean Air) to buy additional 64% of stakes in Czech Airlines. As Travel Service already owns 34% of Czech Airlines, they are becoming dominant stakeholder (Ceska pojistovna holds 2.3% of stakes).
The transaction is subject of approval of The Office for the Protection of Competition of the Czech Republic.
